Welfare and Development Focus
Minister Savitha reiterated that “Every Day is a Festival in the State” due to the effective implementation of welfare schemes and governance reforms. She made these remarks while unveiling the statue of freedom fighter Vadde Obanna in Nuzvid, alongside Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi. She praised Obanna’s contribution to India’s freedom struggle, noting that the government has officially recognized his legacy by declaring his birth anniversary as a state festival.

She further stated that the government has successfully launched the “Super Six” schemes and is committed to uplifting marginalized communities, especially Backward Classes. The recently announced job calendar by Nara Lokesh has brought renewed hope to unemployed youth. Initiatives such as free bus travel for persons with disabilities also reflect the government’s inclusive approach.

Every Day is a Festival in the State: Empowerment and Future Plans
Highlighting empowerment measures, Savitha said that “Every Day is a Festival in the State” is not just a slogan but a reflection of real change through economic and social initiatives. She revealed that the final draft of the BC Protection Act is ready and will soon be implemented. She also pointed out that the government has ensured strong representation for BC leaders by including eight BC ministers in the Cabinet.

The Minister noted that MSME parks are being established in every constituency, creating employment opportunities and boosting local economies. Special attention is being given to traditional communities like the Vadderas, including concessions in mining leases. She added that the demand to include Vadderas in the Scheduled Tribes category will be taken up with the Chief Minister.

Savitha also highlighted women-centric schemes such as Deepam 2, Stree Shakti, and Talliki Vandanam, emphasizing the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment. Criticizing the previous administration led by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, she alleged that BC welfare was neglected, contrasting it with the efforts of leaders like N. T. Rama Rao and Chandrababu Naidu.

The event witnessed a grand استقبال in Nuzvid, with party cadres organizing a rally to welcome the Minister. Several leaders, community representatives, and members of the Vaddera community attended the program in large numbers.
