Where Are the ‘Super Six’ Promises?
Former MLA and YSRCP Palnadu District President Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy launched a sharp attack on the government during a press conference held at the YSRCP office in Macherla. He repeatedly asked, “Where are the Super Six promises?”, highlighting what he described as the government’s inability to fulfill key assurances made to the people.
He pointed out that several major promises, including pensions for SC, ST, BC, and minority communities at the age of 50, ₹1,500 monthly financial assistance for women, creation of 20 lakh jobs, and unemployment allowances, remain unfulfilled. According to Pinnelli, these Super Six promises were central to the coalition’s election campaign but have not translated into action.
Super Six Promises and Political Allegations
Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy also alleged that political vendetta is being carried out against him. He revealed that he spent 98 days in jail, while his brother Venkatrami Reddy spent 106 days, claiming that false cases were filed against them deliberately.
He stated that in earlier times, action was taken only against those proven guilty, but now innocent individuals are being targeted for political reasons. He further alleged that around 550 families supporting YSRCP in the Macherla constituency were forced to leave due to harassment by leaders of the Telugu Desam Party.

Super Six Promises vs Development Claims
Responding to allegations made by MLA Julakanti Brahmananda Reddy regarding land encroachments, Pinnelli dismissed them as baseless. He challenged the MLA to prove any such claims and even invited authorities to take over land if it exists under his name.
He also rejected accusations linking him to idol theft, asserting that he is ready to take an oath in a temple if even a fraction of the allegations are proven true. He questioned whether his political opponents have the courage to do the same.
Super Six Promises and Governance Questions
Taking the criticism further, Pinnelli questioned the government’s inaction on the Varikapudisala project. He claimed that the project had been neglected for nearly 30 years and was previously deemed unfeasible in the Assembly. However, he asked why the current government has failed to initiate work despite being in power.
Highlighting his own tenure, Pinnelli said that development works worth hundreds of crores were carried out in the constituency, including major highway projects. He contrasted this with the current administration, questioning what has been achieved in the last two years.
