Eluru, March 13:Eluru MLA and District Telugu Desam Party President Badeti Chanti said the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh is providing welfare governance by fulfilling not only the promises made to the people but also additional commitments beyond those promises. Speaking to the media at his camp office in Powerpet on Friday, Badeti Chanti on coalition government said the state is moving towards development after the destructive rule of the YSRCP over the past five years.
He stated that within just two years the coalition government has earned the appreciation of the people by delivering welfare even during difficult times and accelerating development. The government is implementing several welfare schemes for the benefit of all sections of society, he added.

Criticizing the YSRCP while referring to its formation day celebrations, he alleged that the period between 2019 and 2024 witnessed what he described as a dark phase of governance in the state. He said the people, frustrated with the rule of the previous government, voted the party out of power in the last elections and gave a clear mandate to a people’s government.
He further alleged that the policies of former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy caused severe losses to many sections of society. He expressed concern that several youths suffered due to the consumption of poor-quality liquor during that period, which affected their lives.
