Palakollu: Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu actively participated in a voluntary service initiative, marking a significant step in public service through the Nimmala Rama Naidu Shramdaan programme. He joined ongoing development works at the Christian cemetery in the 27th ward, working alongside labourers by carrying gravel, sand, and cement pans and contributing to slab construction.

The Nimmala Rama Naidu Shramdaan initiative reflects the minister’s hands-on approach towards improving essential public infrastructure. His active involvement has drawn appreciation from local residents and officials alike.

Nimmala Rama Naidu Shramdaan Focuses on Better Facilities

The minister stated that the Nimmala Rama Naidu Shramdaan activities are being conducted regularly every Sunday across various cremation grounds in the Palakollu constituency. His vision is to transform these spaces into clean, well-maintained, and park-like environments that offer dignity and peace.

Emphasizing the importance of such facilities, he noted that just as birth is important in life, the final resting place after death holds equal significance. Through the Nimmala Rama Naidu Shramdaan, he aims to improve sanitation, infrastructure, and overall conditions in cremation grounds.

During his visit, he reviewed the progress of ongoing works and instructed officials to ensure timely completion. Municipal Commissioner Vijaya Sarathi, along with local leaders Jagrath Rambabu and Mallula Venkat, also took part in the programme.
