Kalikiri, March 28: Kalikiri CHC inspection was conducted by District Coordinator of Health Services (DCHS) Dr. Padmanjali Devi on Saturday, with a strong focus on improving patient care and hospital management. During the Kalikiri CHC inspection, she reviewed all departments and instructed staff to ensure quality healthcare services that build public confidence in government hospitals.

Kalikiri CHC Inspection Focuses on Staff Discipline and Patient Care
As part of the Kalikiri CHC inspection, Dr. Padmanjali Devi emphasized punctuality and strict adherence to duty timings among medical staff. She warned that negligence in duties would not be tolerated and directed that any complaints related to bribery must be immediately reported to higher authorities.
She also instructed that all essential medicines must be available at all times and that no patient should be denied treatment due to shortages. Cleanliness was another major focus during the Kalikiri CHC inspection, with sanitation staff directed to maintain hygiene across hospital premises.

Kalikiri CHC Inspection Reviews Facilities and Advanced Treatment Availability
During the Kalikiri CHC inspection, various departments including Outpatient (OP), Inpatient (IP), maternity services, laboratory, pharmacy, labor room, operation theatre, and diet sections were thoroughly reviewed. She also assessed the implementation of digital healthcare systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), NTR Vaidya Seva, ABHA, and FRS, and ordered improvements where necessary.
Dr. Padmanjali Devi stated that advanced facilities like maternal and child healthcare services, X-ray, and laboratory services are now available in the new building. She highlighted that medicines for snake bites and dog bites are readily available at the hospital.

Importantly, she informed that a Tenecteplase injection, valued at around ₹40,000 and used for treating heart attacks, is available at the CHC. In cases of chest pain, patients will undergo an ECG, and if required, doctors will administer the injection immediately. She urged the public to utilize these facilities for timely treatment.
The Kalikiri CHC inspection was attended by Medical Officer Dr. Y. Pawan Kumar, Dr. Shashikumar Raju, Dr. Ashalatha, Dr. Basheer, Dr. Anvesh, In-charge Head Nurse Kavithamma, Pharmacist Moinuddin, and other staff members.
