The Jai Bhim Movement gained renewed momentum as leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) urged that the slogan “Jai Bhim” should echo in every household across Andhra Pradesh. The call was made during the grand celebrations of the 135th birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar at the party’s central office in Tadepalli. Leaders emphasized that the Jai Bhim Movement is not just a slogan but a guiding principle for achieving social justice, equality, and empowerment.

YSRCP leaders highlighted that the Jai Bhim Movement reflects the core values of the Indian Constitution and the vision of Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Former Minister Merugu Nagarjuna stated that Ambedkar’s ideals transformed the lives of marginalized communities and must continue to guide governance. He stressed that the Jai Bhim Movement should inspire policies that ensure equal opportunities, education, and dignity for all sections of society.
Leaders also expressed concerns that constitutional values are being weakened under the current administration. They argued that the Jai Bhim Movement is essential to restore faith in democratic institutions and to protect the rights of weaker sections.

Speaking at the event, Adimulapu Suresh and Mekathoti Sucharita praised the governance of Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that his administration successfully implemented the ideals of Ambedkar through welfare schemes. They pointed out that initiatives such as education reforms, healthcare access, and housing for millions aligned with the spirit of the Jai Bhim Movement.
Sucharita emphasized that representation for SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities in governance reflects the true meaning of the Jai Bhim Movement. She added that policies like English-medium education and welfare delivery at the doorstep strengthened social equality.

Former MLA TJR Sudhakar Babu called for the rise of “hundreds of Ambedkars” to carry forward the Jai Bhim Movement. He highlighted ongoing issues such as social discrimination and lack of access to basic rights, urging people to unite for justice.
MLC Monditoka Arun Kumar described Jagan as a leader who carried forward Ambedkar’s vision, while Lella Appi Reddy noted that the Constitution continues to guide nations worldwide. Leaders collectively emphasized that the Jai Bhim Movement must evolve into a mass movement that empowers every household.
The YSRCP leaders unanimously reiterated that the Jai Bhim Movement should become a people’s movement, reaching every home in the state. They stressed that only by following the ideals of B. R. Ambedkar and leadership inspired by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy can true social justice and equality be achieved.
