Tension gripped Seetharampuram village after a shocking incident where a YSR Statue Vandalised case came to light, triggering protests by YSR Congress Party leaders and supporters.
The statue of former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, installed nearly 15 years ago, was allegedly damaged by unidentified persons on Monday night. The left hand of the statue was found broken, while a nearby banner of Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was also torn.

YSR Statue Vandalised Sparks Political Tension
The YSR Statue Vandalised incident quickly escalated into a political issue, with YSRCP leaders staging a protest at the site on Tuesday. Party leaders condemned the act and termed it as a deliberate attempt to hurt public sentiment.
Pendra Veeranna, State President of the MBC wing of YSRCP and former Chairman of the MBC Corporation, participated as the chief guest. He demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and warned that if action is not taken within ten days, the party will launch large-scale protests.
He also alleged that such incidents have increased after the change in government and accused the administration of failing to ensure law and order.

Highlighting the seriousness of the YSR Statue Vandalised case, leaders stated that such acts were never witnessed earlier in the constituency. They termed it a dangerous trend and warned that the party would not remain silent if such incidents continue.
The leaders submitted a formal complaint to the police, urging swift investigation and strict action against those responsible.
