The Deputy Chief Minister explained that expanding the Magic Drain model to all panchayats would significantly strengthen sanitation and drainage management systems.
Desilting of irrigation drains was another key issue discussed during the Pawan Kalyan–Chandrababu Naidu meeting. Pawan Kalyan suggested that desilting works be undertaken during the summer to ensure completion before the commencement of the cropping season, thereby benefiting farmers.
