Nature Photography Exhibition in Guntur Highlights Environmental Conservation

Guntur: K. Krishna, Founder and Honorary Advisor of the Photographers and Allied Traders Welfare Association (PATWA), stated that nature photography exhibitions play a vital role in promoting environmental protection and indirectly convey a powerful message about conservation.

On Tuesday, he formally inaugurated the “Nature Photography Exhibition” organized by renowned nature photographer T.N. Varaprasad at the SHO Meeting Hall in Brodipet. The event was presided over by PATWA President N. Satish Kumar.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishna said capturing forests, lakes, scenic destinations, wildlife, and birds in their natural habitat through a camera is a remarkable art. He praised T.N. Varaprasad for mastering this craft and for showcasing photographs captured from across the country. Many of these photographs have won awards at various levels of competitions, reflecting his exceptional talent and dedication.

A total of 75 selected color photographs are being displayed at the exhibition. Krishna urged the public to visit the exhibition in large numbers.

Dr. T. Seva Kumar, Founder of SHO, said that when people observe nature photographs, they are prompted to reflect deeply. They begin to understand how nature once existed and how it is gradually being destroyed today, along with the consequences this destruction brings upon humanity.

Exhibition organizer T.N. Varaprasad stated that the primary objective of the exhibition is to raise awareness about environmental conservation. He mentioned that he has personally organized 208 exhibitions so far. With photography increasingly being chosen as a profession by many youngsters, the exhibition also aims to guide and train youth in the art and techniques of photography.

PATWA President N. Satish Kumar noted that capturing live images of animals and birds requires immense skill, patience, and effort. He expressed hope that every professional photographer would strive to attain such expertise.
