Mangalagiri ganja arrests: Key details of police operation

As part of the Mangalagiri ganja arrests, police apprehended 12 individuals within the Mangalagiri Police Station limits. Authorities seized 2.7 kilograms of cannabis from the accused. According to officials, the prime suspect, Ravi Mahesh, is a repeat offender with 12 previous cases registered against him. Investigations revealed that the accused sourced cannabis from Paderu and distributed it across Mangalagiri and nearby areas.

In a parallel operation under Duggirala Police Station limits, another 15 individuals were arrested. Police found that this group transported cannabis from Rayagada in Odisha and sold it locally. During the raid, officials seized 1,620 grams of cannabis along with ₹3,600 in cash. The Mangalagiri ganja arrests expose a wider inter-state drug supply chain that authorities are now actively investigating.
