Administrative Efforts Praised

The Collector appreciated Joint Collector Venkateswarlu for his dedicated efforts in resolving the issue. He recalled guidance from a senior IAS officer during his training, emphasizing the importance of using administrative power for public good. Clearing a file pending for decades gave him immense personal satisfaction.

The Decades-Long Land Issue Resolved in Kavali involved nearly 190 acres of dotted lands. With the issue now settled, beneficiaries can legally register their properties and gain full ownership rights. This breakthrough will also enable residents to access loans for education and other needs—something that was previously difficult due to unclear land titles.

He further expressed optimism about Kavali’s future, stating that the town is on track to become a “Golden City.” With upcoming projects like BPCL, Indosol industries, and a proposed airport at Damavaram, Kavali is expected to witness rapid growth and employment opportunities. He added that the town could develop on par with major cities like Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.

Following the Decades-Long Land Issue Resolved in Kavali, a celebratory atmosphere was seen in Vengalrao Nagar, where residents felicitated officials and received official land documents.

Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for a cement road worth approximately ₹1 crore from Udayagiri Road to IDSMT Layout.

Officials including RDO Elisha Babu, Tahsildar Sravan Kumar, and several public representatives participated in the program. The Decades-Long Land Issue Resolved in Kavali stands as a milestone in improving governance and ensuring justice for long-affected residents.
