During his visit to Kavali on April 27, Collector Himanshu Shukla, along with MLA Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy, participated in multiple development programs. Addressing the gathering at Vengalrao Nagar, the Collector stated that when the issue was raised by the MLA, he assured resolution within 24 hours—and successfully delivered on that promise through coordinated efforts of officials. Clearing a file pending for decades gave him immense personal satisfaction.

With the issue now settled, beneficiaries can legally register their properties and gain full ownership rights. MLA Dagumati Venkata Krishna Reddy stated that the resolution proves how capable officials can address even the most complex issues. He thanked Collector Himanshu Shukla and the district administration for fulfilling a long-pending demand of the people.
He further expressed optimism about Kavali’s future, stating that the town is on track to become a “Golden City.” With upcoming projects like BPCL, Indosol industries, and a proposed airport at Damavaram, Kavali is expected to witness rapid growth and employment opportunities. He added that the town could develop on par with major cities like Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.

Apart from resolving the land issue, the Collector also reviewed ongoing development works. He inspected railway underpass construction and instructed officials to speed up progress. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for a cement road worth approximately ₹1 crore from Udayagiri Road to IDSMT Layout.
