Nellore, March 15: District Collector Himanshu Shukla delivered an inspiring message of unity and harmony during the Ramadan Iftar gathering organized by the District Minority Welfare Department in Nellore. The highlight of the event was Collector Himanshu Shukla’s Inspirational Speech, in which he emphasized the importance of unity among communities and the strength of India’s diversity. The Iftar programme was held on Sunday evening at Shadi Manzil in Kotamitta, where several public representatives, religious leaders, and members of the Muslim community gathered to celebrate the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan.

During the gathering, Collector Himanshu Shukla’s Inspirational Speech captured the attention of the audience as he addressed the participants in Urdu, extending warm Ramadan greetings to the Muslim community. He said that despite conflicts and tensions in many parts of the world, India continues to remain peaceful because its people live together in unity and mutual respect.
The Collector highlighted that the harmony among people of different religions and cultures is the true strength of the country. He urged everyone to continue maintaining this spirit of unity and cooperation for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
He also noted that the state government is committed to the welfare and development of minority communities. Several programmes are being implemented to improve the educational, economic, and social conditions of minorities in the state.
Collector Shukla further spoke about the development taking place in Nellore district. He mentioned that several new industries are being established in the region, which will create employment opportunities for the youth and contribute to the overall growth of the district.

The Iftar event witnessed the participation of several prominent leaders, including MLC Beeda Ravichandra, MLAs Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy and Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, State Waqf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz, Nellore Mayor Sujatha, and Deputy Mayor Roop Kumar Yadav.
The leaders participated in interfaith prayers, seeking peace, prosperity, and harmony for the country and the world. After the prayers, they joined members of the Muslim community in the traditional Iftar feast, symbolizing communal unity and mutual respect.
State Waqf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz expressed happiness over the large participation of the Muslim community and appreciated the district administration for organizing the programme successfully. He stated that such events strengthen communal harmony and foster goodwill among people of different faiths.
