World-Class Education

The proposed Nellore Minority International School will be constructed at a cost of ₹20 crore on Wakf Board land. The institution is planned as a modern, international-standard facility aimed at providing quality education and holistic development opportunities for minority students.

The minister stated that the school will include advanced infrastructure such as a swimming pool and other modern amenities to ensure a well-rounded educational experience. The project is expected to create new opportunities for students from underprivileged backgrounds and help them compete at national and global levels.

Dr. Narayana also revealed that the design responsibilities for the school have been entrusted to his daughter, Sharani. He expressed confidence that the institution will serve as a model for excellence in education and play a key role in shaping the future of minority youth in the region.

Welfare Vision

The Nellore Minority International School is part of a broader vision to strengthen minority welfare in the district. Dr. Narayana reiterated that the government is focusing on long-term development through strategic investments in education and infrastructure.

He noted that empowering minority communities through education is essential for reducing poverty and creating sustainable livelihoods. By establishing high-quality institutions, the government aims to bridge gaps in access to education and ensure equal opportunities for all sections of society.

The minister stressed that such initiatives align with the state’s overall development goals and reflect a commitment to inclusive progress.

Development

Along with the Nellore Minority International School, the minister also announced the revival of development works at the Barashahid Dargah. The project, which had been stalled earlier, will now resume with an allocation of ₹9.8 crore.

Dr. Narayana appreciated the efforts of MLA Sridhar Reddy in supporting the development of the dargah and ensuring that the project moves forward. The revival of this project is expected to improve facilities for devotees and enhance the significance of the religious site.

Complemented by Community Infrastructure Projects

The Nellore Minority International School initiative is complemented by several community infrastructure projects being undertaken across the city. The minister highlighted the construction of Shadi Manzils in various divisions as a key priority.

He stated that Shadi Manzils across 54 divisions will be completed and inaugurated soon, providing essential facilities for community events and functions. These projects are being supported through a combination of personal contributions from the minister and assistance from MP Vemireddy.

Such initiatives aim to strengthen social infrastructure and improve the quality of life for residents, particularly those from minority communities.

Supported by Welfare Schemes

Dr. Narayana also pointed out that the government is taking significant steps to support religious leaders and community welfare. He mentioned that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has sanctioned ₹40 crore for the welfare of imams and muezzins.

This financial support is expected to benefit religious leaders and further strengthen the government’s relationship with minority communities. The Nellore Minority International School is seen as part of this broader effort to ensure comprehensive development.

Vision for Model City

The announcement of the Nellore Minority International School reflects the minister’s vision of transforming Nellore into a model city. By focusing on education, infrastructure, and community welfare, the government aims to create a balanced and inclusive urban environment.

Wakf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz and rural leader Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy praised the minister’s initiatives, particularly his emphasis on education as a tool for social transformation. They stated that such efforts would play a crucial role in improving the lives of underprivileged children.

The event was attended by Mayor Sujatha Ashok, Deputy Mayor Roop Kumar Yadav, corporators, minority leaders, and senior party members, highlighting the importance of the occasion.

Transform Future

The Nellore Minority International School is expected to become a landmark project in the district, offering quality education and new opportunities for minority students. With modern facilities and a strong focus on holistic development, the institution aims to prepare students for future challenges.

As the government continues to invest in such initiatives, the focus remains on building an inclusive society where every individual has access to education and opportunities for growth. The project stands as a testament to the commitment toward empowering communities and fostering long-term development.
