The bridge will be constructed over the Mulamudi Kaluvu at an estimated cost of ₹42.50 lakh. The foundation ceremony was led by Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, MLA of Nellore Rural, along with TDP leader Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy and several local leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy said that development works are progressing rapidly in the Nellore Rural constituency after the formation of the coalition government. He stated that projects worth nearly ₹370 crore have been taken up in the constituency with the support of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The MLA also appealed to the people to work together for the development of their villages. He said that when there are no elections, everyone should cooperate beyond party lines to ensure progress and harmony in rural areas. Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy emphasized that the coalition government believes in fulfilling its promises to the public. He said the government is giving equal importance to development and welfare programs across the state. Many infrastructure works, roads, irrigation projects, and public facilities are being implemented in Nellore Rural with the support of the state leadership.
