Workplace Harassment Against Women: Strict Monitoring Measures

To tackle workplace harassment against women, the Collector directed officials to establish Internal Monitoring Committees at both mandal and district levels. These committees will handle complaints confidentially and ensure timely action. He stressed that women should report harassment without fear and that authorities must respond swiftly.

The Collector also highlighted a recent case where strict action was taken against a Mandal Revenue Officer based on complaints, sending a clear message that negligence or misconduct will not be tolerated. He further instructed officials to spread awareness about legal rights and the importance of reporting workplace harassment against women.
