Tadepalligudem, Mar 11:The NIT Andhra Pradesh Vulcanzy Fest will be organised on March 13 and 14 as a two-day science and technology outreach programme aimed at inspiring school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students to explore emerging technologies and innovation.
Tadepalligudem: The NIT Andhra Pradesh Vulcanzy Fest will bring together young innovators, students, and technology enthusiasts through competitions, exhibitions, workshops, and interactive sessions. The programme is being organised by the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT-AP) to provide students exposure to the academic and research environment of premier technical institutions.
Prof. N. V. Ramana, Director (In-charge) of NIT Andhra Pradesh, said the initiative aims to encourage young learners to pursue higher education and careers in science and technology.
The event, organised by the institute’s Technical Affairs Council, will provide a platform for students to showcase technological innovations and research projects in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, programming, materials engineering, and embedded systems.
Various events including DomainXpo: Explore, Learn, Innovate, NextGen Materials: A Showcase, and Tech Poster Arena – Concepts to Canvas will allow students to present their ideas and projects.

Several technical competitions such as CodeQuest – Debug, Predict, Conquer, SIGNAL QUEST, Blocksync, Prompt Perfect, Logic Arena: Battle of Brains, INK & Encryption, and PRESS RUNNER will test analytical thinking and technological creativity.
Hands-on engineering activities including Build, Balance & Break Limits – Engineering Challenge Series, Demolition and Rescue, SocCAR (RC Car Football), Automated Shooting Range, Sensor Playground, and Motorized Engineering Sports will demonstrate practical engineering concepts.
Interactive zones with activities like Game Development Showcase, Sim Racing Rig, Laser Trap, Bowling Strike Challenge, DodgeBall Vest Bash, Foosball, Logic Jenga, and Blink Battle will provide engaging learning experiences.
Creative competitions such as singing, dancing, short film making, and photography contests will also be conducted.
Entrepreneurship-focused events like Root & Rise – Qualify, Create, Grow, Stranger Startups – Close the Gate, Career Quest – The Ultimate Career Hunt, and Seed to Future will encourage innovation, leadership, and startup thinking among students.
School students attending the outreach programme will also witness robotics demonstrations, drone technology sessions, and campus tours, offering them exposure to laboratories and research facilities at NIT Andhra Pradesh.
Organisers said the NIT Andhra Pradesh Vulcanzy Fest aims to bridge the gap between school education and advanced technological learning while fostering curiosity, creativity, and innovation among young minds.
