Dwaraka Tirumala Fake Ticket Scam Details

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police D. Shravan Kumar, the Dwaraka Tirumala fake ticket scam came to light after 61 fake tickets priced at ₹200 each were sold through the temple counter on March 15. The irregularities were noticed by temple authorities, following which Executive Officer Bhadraji lodged a formal complaint.

During the investigation, police initially detained two suspects before arresting the prime accused, Sai Jagannadha Raju, who was absconding. His interrogation revealed the full extent of the Dwaraka Tirumala fake ticket scam.

Police uncovered that a temple accounts supervisor, Mulagala Ramesh, conspired with his associate to develop specialized software to generate fake tickets. These counterfeit tickets were printed and circulated through official counters, making the scam highly organized.

Further investigation revealed the involvement of outsourcing staff and security personnel, indicating a wider network behind the Dwaraka Tirumala fake ticket scam.

Officials seized key evidence, including a laptop, printer, and five mobile phones used in the operation. All seven accused have been produced before the court, and police stated that more arrests are likely as the probe continues.
