Tirumala, March 21 – The Chandrababu Naidu Tirumala visit on Saturday reflected both devotion and public service as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister offered prayers at the sacred shrine of Lord Venkateswara along with his family. The visit held special significance as it coincided with the birthday of his grandson Devansh, making it a deeply personal and spiritual occasion.

Chandrababu Naidu was accompanied by his wife Bhuvaneshwari, son and minister Nara Lokesh, and grandson Devansh. After the darshan, temple priests blessed the family with Vedic chants, and temple authorities presented them with sacred offerings, marking a traditional and respectful visit to the temple.

₹44 Lakh Annadanam Contribution

A key highlight of the Chandrababu Naidu Tirumala visit was the family’s generous donation of ₹44 lakh to the Annadanam Trust. This contribution was made to sponsor one full day of free meals for devotees visiting the temple.

The donation was made in celebration of Devansh’s birthday, continuing a long-standing family tradition. Since his birth, the family has been making similar contributions every year, and this marks the 12th such donation. The gesture reflects the Chief Minister’s commitment to service and charity, especially in a sacred setting like Tirumala.

The Annadanam scheme is one of the most respected services at the temple, providing free meals to thousands of pilgrims daily. Contributions like this play a vital role in sustaining the initiative.

Shows Simplicity in Darshan

Another notable aspect of the Chandrababu Naidu Tirumala visit was his decision to follow the common devotee route for darshan. Despite being entitled to special privileges as Chief Minister, he chose to enter through the Vaikuntham Queue Complex, standing alongside regular pilgrims.

This practice has been consistently followed by Chandrababu Naidu during his visits to Tirumala. It reflects his personal devotion and belief in equality among devotees, earning appreciation from the public.

By choosing the same path as ordinary pilgrims, he set an example of humility and respect for traditions.

Service to Devotees

As part of the Chandrababu Naidu Tirumala visit, the Chief Minister and his family visited the Tarigonda Vengamamba Annadanam Complex after darshan. There, they personally served food to devotees, creating a memorable and heartwarming moment.

Pilgrims appreciated the gesture and interacted warmly with the Chief Minister. During his walk through the temple streets, many devotees greeted him enthusiastically. Setting aside strict security protocols, he engaged directly with people, shook hands, and posed for photographs.

In one touching moment, a devotee presented him with a sacred garland, which he accepted with gratitude, further strengthening his connection with the public.

Focuses on Devotee Facilities

The Chandrababu Naidu Tirumala visit also included a review of facilities available to pilgrims. The Chief Minister interacted with devotees to gather feedback on accommodation, queue management, and food services.

Many pilgrims expressed satisfaction with the improved quality of the famous laddu prasadam. At the same time, they suggested making the darshan process faster and more convenient.

Responding to their concerns, Chandrababu Naidu stated that an Integrated Command Control System has already been implemented to improve management. He further assured that advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, would soon be introduced to streamline the darshan process and enhance the overall experience for devotees.

Reflects Commitment to Pilgrims

The Chandrababu Naidu Tirumala visit highlighted a balanced approach combining personal devotion with administrative responsibility. By offering prayers, contributing to annadanam, serving devotees, and reviewing facilities, the Chief Minister demonstrated his commitment to improving pilgrim services.

Tirumala, being one of the most visited pilgrimage centres in the country, requires continuous efforts to manage the large influx of devotees. Through such visits and initiatives, the government aims to ensure a smooth, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims.
