Tadepalligudem: The Balusulamma Annadanam Trust was announced by MLA and State Government Whip Bolisetti Srinivas during the conclusion of the Sri Sri Sri Balusulamma Ammavari Jatara Mahotsavam, held with public participation.
On Friday, marking the end of the festival, special Maha Kumbha offerings were made to the goddess, followed by a large-scale annadanam (community meal). The MLA took part in the rituals and offered special prayers.

Trust to Ensure Weekly Annadanam
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said a permanent annadanam trust would be established to provide free meals every Friday at the temple. He contributed ₹9 lakh as the initial donation towards the trust.
He added that the trust would be registered with a fund of ₹1 crore, and the interest generated would be used to conduct annadanam regularly in a sustainable manner.
Public Participation Encouraged
The MLA invited interested individuals to join the trust as members. He assured that the trust would function legally with proper rules, regulations, and discipline.
He further stated that efforts are being made to ensure that no one in Tadepalligudem goes hungry, with plans to expand daily annadanam at various temples.

Donations and Participation
On this occasion, Marishetty Pothuraju donated ₹9 lakh, while Balusu Lakshmana Rao contributed ₹58,000. Coalition leaders, temple authorities, and several others attended the event.
