Eluru, March 2: A tragic Eluru road accident claimed the lives of three youths after their speeding motorcycle collided with a college bus near Janampeta in Pedavegi mandal on Monday. The incident has shocked residents and raised fresh concerns about road safety and helmet use.

According to police, the Eluru road accident occurred when a Ramachandra Engineering College bus was travelling from Eluru towards Janampeta. At the same time, three youths were returning to Eluru on a Pulsar motorcycle. The bike was reportedly travelling at high speed and rammed into the right side of the bus near the FCI godowns.
The impact of the Eluru road accident was severe, throwing the riders onto the road. All three suffered fatal head injuries and died on the spot. Police said none of the victims were wearing helmets, which contributed to the severity of the injuries.

Police officials said overspeeding was the main reason behind the Eluru road accident. The deceased were identified as Chitti Anjaneyulu (23), Bonthu Durga Rao (24), and S.K. Ahmed (25), all residents of BD Colony in Eluru Rural mandal. They had gone to Janampeta together and were returning home when the accident took place.
