Vijayawada, May 12: A major employment opportunity is set to open for unemployed youth in Andhra Pradesh as the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) will organise a large-scale recruitment drive in Vijayawada on May 20. More than 350 vacancies will be filled through the special hiring event, officials announced.
NTR District Skill Development Officer S. Srinivasa Rao said several reputed companies, including Safran Electrical & Power India and Premier Energies Limited, will participate in the recruitment programme. Hiring will be conducted for positions such as Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Production Associate, and Helpers.

Candidates who have completed 10th Class, Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic, Degree, B.Tech, and Postgraduate courses are eligible to attend the employment drive. Both male and female applicants aged between 18 and 30 years can participate.
Selected candidates will receive monthly salaries ranging from Rs.14,500 to Rs.25,000 depending on the role and qualifications. Apart from salary packages, companies will also provide benefits including ESI, PF, gratuity, attendance bonus, free meals, and transportation facilities.

Officials said candidates selected through the recruitment campaign will be posted in Hyderabad.
The placement event will be conducted from 9 AM on May 20 at the District Employment Office located in the Government ITI College premises near Ramesh Hospitals Road in Vijayawada.
Authorities advised interested candidates to complete their registration in advance through the APSSDC portal before attending the hiring programme.
