The District Collector, Dr. G. Lakshmisha, stated that the examinations being conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for four notifications are progressing smoothly, and all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure that candidates face no inconvenience.
On Monday, Collector Lakshmisha visited the examination centre at CVR Girls Municipal High School in the city. She reviewed the arrangements made to ensure that candidates can write their exams in a peaceful environment.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that APPSC is conducting examinations for various posts related to the Forest and Endowments Departments, and these exams will continue until the 13th of this month. She added that the exams are being held at 15 centres in and around Vijayawada.
She further stated that proper arrangements have been made regarding seating, furniture, drinking water, toilets, and electricity supply so that there is no inconvenience anywhere. Instructions have been issued to liaison officers, chief superintendents, and officials of coordinating departments to work collectively to ensure the successful conduct of the examinations, and regular guidance is being provided.
Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha emphasized that the district administration has taken strict measures to ensure that candidates can write the examinations without any pressure and under complete security.
