High Court issues major reshuffle under Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026

Amaravati, April 29, 2026 – In a major administrative development, the High Court of Andhra Pradesh has ordered a large-scale reshuffle of judicial officers under the Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026, aiming to enhance efficiency and streamline court functioning across the state.

Major Reshuffle Across State

The Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026 was officially issued through Notification No. 394–B.SPL dated April 29, 2026. As per the orders, several Civil Judges (Senior Division) have been transferred and posted to new judicial stations across multiple districts.

The High Court directed all officers to immediately hand over their current responsibilities, including any additional charges, and report to their new postings without delay. This move is expected to improve judicial administration and ensure balanced workload distribution.


Key Transfers

Under the Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026, several महत्वपूर्ण postings were announced. Smt. A. Sunitha Rani has been transferred from Tirupati to Guntur as I Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division). Sri N. Sirish has been appointed Principal Civil Judge (Senior Division), Nandyal, while Smt. B. Baby Rani has been moved to Chirala.

Smt. B. Padma has been elevated as Principal Civil Judge in Rajamahendravaram. Similarly, Sri N. Ramesh Naidu has been posted to Vizianagaram with additional charge responsibilities. Ms. M. Prameela Rani has been assigned to Eluru, and Sri Y. Gopala Krishna has been transferred to Visakhapatnam.

Further postings include Sri M. Sreedhar to Vijayawada, Ms. G. Vani to Nuzvid, and Smt. K. Madhu Swamy as Principal Civil Judge in Bapatla. Several other officers have been reassigned to key judicial centers like Kakinada, Machilipatnam, Ongole, and Kadapa.

The Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026 also includes provisions for additional responsibilities. Some officers have been given dual charge of courts, especially in newly established or vacant positions, to ensure uninterrupted judicial services.

Judicial officers working on a temporary basis under the Andhra Pradesh State Judicial Service Rules, 2007, along with recently promoted Civil Judges (Senior Division), have also been included in this reshuffle and assigned new postings.

As per the Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026, all officers must complete the transfer process and join their new posts on or before May 11, 2026. The High Court has instructed concerned authorities to make alternative arrangements if any officer is unable to hand over charge due to leave or other reasons.

Officers are also required to report their relief and joining dates to the High Court without fail. The official notification has been published on the High Court’s website for transparency and implementation.


The Andhra Pradesh Civil Judges Transfer 2026 is part of a routine administrative exercise aimed at strengthening the judicial system. The reshuffle is expected to enhance efficiency, ensure better case management, and improve overall court performance across Andhra Pradesh.
