MoUs with IBM, NxtGen and BharatGen to Develop Integrated AP AI Stack for Innovation and Digital Transformation
State Partners with Calibo to Establish AI Sandboxes, Boosting Startup Ecosystem and Responsible AI Deployment
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has taken a significant step toward strengthening its Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem by signing key strategic agreements aimed at building a robust and integrated AI infrastructure for citizens, innovators, researchers, and startups.
At the AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and Letters of Intent (LoIs) were formally exchanged on Friday.
In a major development, Letters of Intent were signed with IBM, NxtGen, and BharatGen to develop the AP AI Stack. The proposed AI Stack will offer a comprehensive five-layer integrated ecosystem enabling seamless design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions.
The platform will feature sovereign training infrastructure, indigenous AI models, middleware frameworks, advanced development tools, and curated datasets—ensuring a secure, scalable, and future-ready foundation for innovation. The initiative aims to promote self-reliance in AI capabilities while accelerating entrepreneurship and digital transformation across sectors.

BharatGen CEO Hrishikesh Mohal, Ramakrishnan, NxtGen CEO Rajagopal, and IBM Research Labs Director Amit Singhee were present during the signing ceremony.
In another key initiative, the Government signed an MoU with Calibo to establish AI Sandboxes across the state. These sandboxes will provide a secure and controlled environment for testing AI solutions, conducting performance evaluations, and assessing real-world impact prior to large-scale deployment. This framework is expected to enhance the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of AI-driven innovations.
Raj Vattikuti, Arabindo Sahu, Vipul Valanji, Pinto Joyson, Johannes Schroeder, and Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) CEO Prakhar Jain attended the MoU signing event.
These strategic collaborations mark a transformative milestone in positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leading hub for AI innovation, research excellence, and responsible deployment of emerging technologies in India.
