Andhra Pradesh Heatwave Intensifies Across Districts
The Andhra Pradesh Heatwave is expected to peak on April 16, with districts like Nandyal, Palnadu, Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Eluru, and West Godavari likely to witness maximum temperatures between 43°C and 44°C.
Prakhar Jain, Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, stated that over 275 mandals have already recorded temperatures above 40°C. He further warned that around 34 mandals may face severe heatwave conditions, while 67 mandals could experience heatwave impact.
The Andhra Pradesh Heatwave is not expected to subside immediately, with similar conditions likely to persist on Friday as well.
