Union Minister Srinivasa Varma highlights Centre’s steps to control fuel prices and protect citizens

Bhimavaram/New Delhi: Fuel Price Relief remains a key focus as Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries, Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, said the Central Government is acting as a protective shield for common people despite global tensions driving crude oil prices higher.

He stated that rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia have pushed global oil prices upward, but the Centre has ensured that the burden is not passed on to citizens. He credited this to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Measures to Control Fuel Prices

Criticism of Previous Government

Srinivasa Varma criticized the previous Congress government, alleging that it issued oil bonds to retain power, which burdened the economy and future generations with debt.

Focus on Public Welfare

He emphasized that the Modi government is taking responsible and firm decisions in challenging times, prioritizing national interest while strengthening the economy. He added that these measures reflect a commitment to public welfare and long-term stability.

Srinivasa Varma expressed confidence that decisions taken by the Prime Minister, who understands people’s hardships, will support national development and ensure stability for common citizens.
