MSME Awareness Seminar Andhra Pradesh: Government Focus on Industrial Growth

The event was attended by Minister Kondapalli Srinivas as the chief guest, along with District Collector Kritika Shukla and several MLAs and officials.

Addressing the gathering, the minister said that the government is giving top priority to the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He highlighted that a dedicated MSME department has been established to strengthen the sector and accelerate industrial growth alongside infrastructure development such as roads, irrigation, and drinking water.

He explained that MSME industrial parks are being developed with government support to overcome challenges like land availability, infrastructure gaps, and initial investment hurdles. These parks provide essential facilities including roads, electricity, and water supply, enabling entrepreneurs to set up industries quickly.

MSME Awareness Seminar Andhra Pradesh: Employment and Women Empowerment

Under the IDP Policy 4.0, financial assistance is being provided for land development, reducing the burden on investors and encouraging private participation. These MSME parks are expected to generate significant local employment and boost the regional economy.

The minister also emphasized women empowerment, recalling that the DWACRA movement introduced by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has transformed the lives of thousands of women. Through self-help groups, women are being encouraged to achieve financial independence and contribute to economic growth.

The “One Family–One Entrepreneur” initiative aims to ensure that at least one member in every family becomes an entrepreneur, with a special focus on women entering the business sector.
