Shadnagar:In a horrifying incident that has sent shockwaves across the region, a case of Husband Murders Wife Over Suspicion has come to light in Shadnagar. A man allegedly killed his wife in a fit of suspicion and later attempted to dispose of the body in a shocking manner. According to police officials, including ACP Lakshmi Narayana, the accused Panuganti Narsimulu (31), a native of Veerannapet in Mahabubnagar district, had married Shobha alias Shobharani (33) four years ago in a love marriage. The couple had a three-year-old daughter, while the victim also had a son from a previous marriage. Initially, their married life was peaceful, but problems began when Narsimulu became addicted to alcohol and started suspecting his wife’s character.
Unable to tolerate harassment, Shobha moved to her mother’s house in Rangareddygudem along with her daughter. However, the accused continued to nurture suspicion and eventually planned the murder. On March 21, he lured her by promising to buy a bicycle for her son and asked her to come to Mahabubnagar. Trusting him, she arrived with their daughter.
Once she reached, the accused took her to his room, consumed alcohol, and picked a fight. In a fit of rage, he attacked her with a granite stone, killing her on the spot. In an even more disturbing act, he made his three-year-old daughter sit on top of the body and transported it to the outskirts of Rangareddygudem, where he dumped it in agricultural fields before fleeing.

The next morning, locals spotted the body and informed the police. Acting promptly, police teams used technical evidence to track the accused’s movements and arrested him at Lingampally within hours. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime. Police also recovered the murder weapon, bloodstained clothes, and a mobile phone from his possession.
The accused was later produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody. Police officials appreciated the efforts of Inspector K.
