Marking his first death anniversary on Tuesday, the 24th, Mosiganti described Pastor Praveen Pagadala as a man of deep knowledge and service. He stated that the untimely demise of Praveen Pagadala remains a painful and irreparable loss for Christians across the state. A Leader Remembered
Professor Joseph Mosiganti recalled that Pastor Praveen Pagadala was widely respected for his wisdom, courage, and dedication to faith. During the Praveen Pagadala Death Anniversary, he emphasized how the pastor’s teachings and public debates left a strong impact on the Christian community. Even after his death, Praveen Pagadala continues to inspire unity among believers.
He also mentioned that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh had expressed condolences at the time of his passing, and a police investigation was conducted. However, many in the Christian community were not satisfied with the investigation, citing a lack of clear explanation from authorities. Mosiganti noted that since the circumstances surrounding his death were unusual, several community members raised concerns and doubts.

Call for Government Action
During the Praveen Pagadala Death Anniversary, Professor Mosiganti also addressed key issues concerning the Christian community. He expressed gratitude to the government for allowing memorial gatherings across Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, he urged the authorities to take further steps to support the community.
He criticized certain YSRCP leaders for questioning the delay in appointing a Chairman for the Christian Corporation, stating that previous appointments had not effectively served Christians. Mosiganti appealed to the government to appoint capable leaders as Chairman of the Christian Corporation, as well as advisors to the Minority Commission, before the upcoming Good Friday festival.
