Guntur, March 12: The Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally being conducted at the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus in Guntur district has received an overwhelming response from youth of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, said Naveen Kumar Chabba, Group Captain and President of the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB), New Delhi.
Addressing a press conference at the university on Thursday, he encouraged young people to join the Indian Air Force and build a bright and secure future. He said the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally offers a valuable opportunity for youth who aspire to serve the nation while building a strong professional career.

Group Captain Naveen Kumar Chabba noted that the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally is being organized in a transparent and systematic manner with the cooperation of the state government, district administration, university authorities, and the police department. He appreciated the support extended by all departments in ensuring smooth conduct of the recruitment process.
Hyderabad Air Force Recruiting Officer Sheikh Yakoob Ali, Wing Commander, explained the details of the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally and said the open rally allows eligible candidates to participate directly without the need for prior online registration.

Large Turnout from Andhra Pradesh
Officials said that nearly 7,000 male candidates from Andhra Pradesh attended the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally held on March 12. In addition, around 1,000 female candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana participated in the recruitment process.
Many candidates began arriving at the venue from the night of March 11 itself. Authorities made extensive arrangements at the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus to manage the large turnout of aspirants attending the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally.

Recruitment Rally for Telangana Candidates on March 15
Officials announced that the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally for male candidates from Telangana will be conducted on March 15 at the same venue. Candidates have been advised to report to the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Entry will be permitted from 4:00 a.m., but candidates arriving after 10:00 a.m. will not be allowed to enter the venue, officials clarified.
Eligibility Criteria
According to the officials, unmarried male candidates born between July 2, 2005 and January 2, 2009 are eligible to participate in the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally.
The minimum required height for both male and female candidates is 152 centimeters. Applicants must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or an equivalent examination, or possess a three-year engineering diploma or a two-year vocational course qualification.
Candidates must secure at least 50 percent marks overall and 50 percent marks in English to be eligible for the recruitment process.

Selection Process
The Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally includes multiple stages of selection. Initially, candidates must qualify in a 1.6-kilometre running test, followed by physical fitness and medical examinations.
Candidates who successfully clear these stages will be eligible to appear for the written examination. The written test will be conducted in English and Hindi, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
Documents Required
Officials said that candidates attending the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally must carry all necessary documents, including original educational certificates or DigiLocker-verified documents, Class X and XII pass certificates, domicile certificate, Aadhaar card, email ID, and mobile number.
Candidates are also required to bring 10 recent passport-size colour photographs along with six photocopies of each certificate. If available, NCC certificates may also be submitted during the verification process.

Air Force officials strongly advised candidates not to rely on agents or middlemen, warning that the Indian Air Force Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Rally follows a completely transparent and merit-based selection process.
