Arrangements Completed in Three Divisions

The DEO said that full preparations have been made to conduct the examinations in the three divisions of the district — Machilipatnam, Gudivada, and Uyyuru.

He added that students can travel free of cost in APSRTC buses from their homes to the examination centres and back by showing their hall tickets.

100-Day Action Plan Showing Positive Results

Subba Rao said the 100-Day Action Plan, launched in late November last year under the direction of D. K. Balaji, is producing encouraging results.

During this period, officials monitored nearly all schools across the district. Special attention was given to students who were academically lagging behind. Additional coaching classes were conducted to help them improve their performance.

The DEO expressed confidence that the district would achieve better results this year due to the focused efforts made under the action plan. He also appreciated the dedication of school headmasters, teachers and Mandal Education Officers who actively participated in implementing the programme.

Security and Monitoring Arrangements

To ensure the secure distribution of question papers and confidential materials, 29 storage points have been set up across the district. Authorities have identified 10 transportation routes and appointed 20 route officers for the safe delivery of exam materials.

Officials have also identified 55 Category-C centres as sensitive centres. For the smooth conduct of examinations, 205 Chief Superintendents and 205 Departmental Officers have been appointed, along with additional supervisory officials.

In addition, 51 additional Joint Custodians have been deployed at sensitive centres, and 1,562 invigilators will oversee the examination process.

To maintain strict supervision, five flying squads have been formed with the coordination of education, revenue and police departments. Adequate security arrangements have also been made to prevent any untoward incidents.

Strict Measures Against Malpractice

The DEO warned that strict action will be taken if any malpractice or copying incidents occur during the examinations. He said invigilators must perform their duties responsibly and ensure a fair examination environment.

If any irregularities occur at a centre, the Chief Superintendent, Departmental Officer and invigilator concerned will be held responsible, he cautioned.

Authorities have also arranged drinking water facilities and medical camps at all examination centres to ensure students do not face any inconvenience.

Subba Rao said he would personally conduct surprise inspections across the district to monitor the arrangements.

Students Asked to Reach Early

As per the timetable, examinations will be held from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM each day. Students have been advised to reach their examination centres at least 50 minutes in advance.

The DEO urged staff members to conduct the examinations in a peaceful atmosphere without any disturbances and help the district achieve better results.

He also conveyed his best wishes to all students appearing for the examinations and advised them to remain calm and write the exams confidently in a stress-free environment.
