Kolusu Parthasarathy Slams YSRCP Over Alleged Disrespect to Hindu Beliefs
Kolusu Parthasarathy Accuses YSRCP of Diverting Attention from Laddu Adulteration Issue
Eluru, February 21: State Minister for Information and Housing Kolusu Parthasarathy strongly criticised YSRCP leaders and MLCs, alleging that their actions had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus. Kolusu Parthasarathy said the alliance government has always respected all religions and upheld the values and beliefs of every community with responsibility and dignity.
Addressing the media at the district TDP office in Eluru on Saturday, Kolusu Parthasarathy accused YSRCP leaders of deliberately creating controversies and disrespecting Hindu traditions. He said the alliance parties have maintained secular values and never encouraged actions that would hurt religious beliefs.
Kolusu Parthasarathy Accuses YSRCP of Diverting Attention
During his address, Kolusu Parthasarathy alleged that YSRCP leaders dragged Heritage Foods into controversy only to divert public attention from the adulterated ghee issue. He said instead of responding to serious allegations, YSRCP leaders were attempting to mislead the public with political accusations.
Kolusu Parthasarathy further criticised YSRCP MLCs for allegedly bringing pictures of Hindu deities into the Legislative Council while wearing footwear. He termed the act as highly disrespectful and said such behaviour clearly reflected their attitude towards Hindu beliefs and traditions.
He said such incidents had caused pain to millions of devotees who have deep faith in Hindu gods and temples.

Kolusu Parthasarathy Targets Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy
The Minister also made serious allegations against former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Kolusu Parthasarathy claimed that YSRCP leaders had repeatedly insulted Hindu beliefs both during their tenure in power and even after losing office.
Kolusu Parthasarathy said the alleged Laddu adulteration issue during the YSRCP government had now come into public discussion and exposed their negligence. He alleged that YSRCP leaders were now trying to escape criticism by raising unrelated issues.
According to Kolusu Parthasarathy, the people of Andhra Pradesh are aware of these developments and will respond accordingly. He called upon the public to strongly condemn any actions that hurt religious sentiments.
Kolusu Parthasarathy Calls for Respect Towards All Religions
Kolusu Parthasarathy emphasised that the present alliance government is committed to protecting religious harmony and respecting all faiths. He said hurting the sentiments of any religion is unacceptable and should not be encouraged in public life.
He urged YSRCP leaders to refrain from making controversial statements and actions that could disturb communal harmony. Kolusu Parthasarathy said leaders must act responsibly and respect people’s beliefs.

Alliance Leaders Support Kolusu Parthasarathy
MLA Chirrri Balraju, BJP district president Choutupalli Vikram Kishore, and APCOB Chairman Ganni Veeranjaneyulu also supported Kolusu Parthasarathy and criticised YSRCP leaders.
They alleged that attacks on Hindu sentiments had increased and said the alliance parties would strongly oppose such actions. The leaders warned that politicising religion would have serious political consequences in the future.
They said the alliance government under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is working to protect the dignity of all religions.
Leaders Attend Press Meet With Kolusu Parthasarathy
Several leaders attended the press conference along with Kolusu Parthasarathy, including Chintalapudi MLA Songa Roshan Kumar, RTC Vijayawada Zone-2 Chairman Reddy Appalanaidu, State Mala Finance Corporation Director Dasari Anjaneyulu, EDA Chairman Peddiboyina Siva Prasad, Deputy Mayor Karri Srinivas, and other senior leaders.
During the press meet, videos of statements made by YSRCP leaders were also shown to the media.
Earlier, public representatives paid floral tributes to the statue of former Chief Minister and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao.
Kolusu Parthasarathy Reaffirms Government Commitment
In conclusion, Kolusu Parthasarathy said the government remains committed to protecting the faith and sentiments of people. He said respecting religion and maintaining harmony is the responsibility of every political leader.
