Officials Told to Improve Public Satisfaction and Strengthen Resurvey Process

Paderu, Feb 17: The ASR District Collector Revenue Review highlighted the urgent need to clear all pending resurvey, mutation, and Records of Rights (RoR) applications within the stipulated timeframe. District Collector A.S. Dinesh Kumar issued strict directions to revenue officials to speed up the disposal of land-related applications and improve public satisfaction.

The review meeting was conducted virtually from the Collectorate with revenue officials of Alluri Sitharama Raju and Polavaram districts on Tuesday. The Collector examined the status of pending revenue cases, grievance redressal, ration distribution, and preparations for the resurvey programme.

Collector Orders Speedy Disposal of Resurvey and Mutation Applications

During the ASR District Collector Revenue Review, A.S. Dinesh Kumar instructed Mandal Revenue Officers (MROs) to carefully examine all pending resurvey and mutation applications. He directed them to forward eligible applications to the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) and Joint Collector through their official logins without delay.

He said revenue officials must conduct awareness meetings in revenue villages and explain the status of land disputes, resurvey corrections, and mutation entries to the public. He also instructed officials to resolve applications reopened under the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) on priority.

The Collector emphasised that error-free Pattadar passbooks must be issued to farmers and any mistakes in existing passbooks should be corrected immediately. He also directed Mandal Revenue Officers to conduct weekly review meetings with Village Revenue Officers and surveyors to monitor pending land issues.

The ASR District Collector Revenue Review also focused on improving public service delivery. The Collector instructed officials to ensure smooth ration distribution through fair price shops from 7 am on the first day of every month and resolve any technical issues immediately.

He stressed the importance of increasing public satisfaction levels through IVRS feedback and directed officials to create awareness about government welfare schemes among beneficiaries.

The Collector also instructed officials to speed up voter mapping to ensure voters are correctly linked to their polling stations.

District In-charge Joint Collector and Paderu ITDA Project Officer Abhishek, Rampachodavaram ITDA Project Officer Smaran Raj, Chintoor ITDA In-charge Project Officer Shubham Nokwal, In-charge DRO Ambedkar, In-charge RDO M.V.S.
