The Andhra Pradesh government has constituted a new Annavaram Temple Trust Board, appointing Inuganti Venkata Rohit as its Chairman. The move is aimed at strengthening the administration and development of the renowned Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy Devasthanam, one of the state’s pilgrimage centres located in Kakinada district.

Annavaram Temple Trust Board Formed with 17 Members
As per G.O. Rt. No. 561 issued on April 17, 2026, the government constituted the Annavaram Temple Trust Board under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987. Along with Chairman Inuganti Venkata Rohit, 16 members have been nominated, forming a 17-member governing body.
The members of the Annavaram Temple Trust Board include Ravipati Satyanarayana, Parvatha Surya Rao, Palacharla Nagendrababu, Apparao Tumu, Suryabhaskharam Danekula, H. Ramanjaneyulu, Telakutla Anathamma, Geddam Apparao (Bujji), Godeti Bhagavat, Reddy Erukamma, Imdugapalli Lovakumari, Yaragatapu Babji, Bandi Lakshmi, Toleti Sireesha, Kamarsu Chirajeevi Rao, and Jhansilakshmi Tullimilli.
In addition, the senior-most Pradana Archaka (chief priest) of the temple will serve as an ex-officio member, ensuring adherence to religious traditions within the Annavaram Temple Trust Board.

Annavaram Temple Trust Board Tenure and Role
The tenure of the Annavaram Temple Trust Board has been fixed at two years from the date of oath-taking. The Commissioner of the Endowments Department has been directed to administer the oath of office and secrecy to all members as per established rules.
The formation of the Annavaram Temple Trust Board is expected to improve governance, streamline temple operations, and enhance facilities for devotees. Officials stated that the board will play a crucial role in overseeing development works, maintaining transparency, and ensuring better management of temple resources.
