Jagan Mohan Reddy criticizing Chandrababu Naidu on governance and women safety

Jagan Mohan Reddy addressing party cadre in Tadepalli

Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has intensified his attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of poor governance and failing to protect women in the state. Speaking at Tadepalli, Jagan alleged that the ruling coalition is indirectly encouraging crimes and disrespect toward women by not taking strict action against offenders. The statement “Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu” has once again become a major political talking point in Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu on Women Safety Issues

Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu for what he described as a complete breakdown of law and order, especially concerning women’s safety. He criticized the government for not acting against individuals who allegedly used abusive language against women and family values.

He pointed out that even when offensive remarks were made publicly, key leaders like Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan failed to condemn them. According to Jagan, this silence reflects a dangerous culture being promoted within the ruling system.

He further alleged that several leaders and even individuals linked to ministers have been involved in harassment cases, but instead of justice being served, victims are reportedly being targeted. This, he said, highlights the “misogynistic approach” of the current government.

Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu on Corruption and Amaravati Plans

Continuing his criticism, Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu over alleged corruption in the Amaravati capital project. He claimed that the government is inflating construction costs, paying as high as ₹14,000 per square foot compared to the national average of ₹4,500.

Jagan also accused the government of misusing public funds and questioned the lack of transparency in loans amounting to ₹3.52 lakh crore. He contrasted this with his own tenure, stating that funds borrowed were largely used for welfare through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

He proposed an alternative development plan, suggesting a Machilipatnam–Vijayawada–Guntur corridor as a cost-effective capital region. He emphasized that such a plan would require only 10% of the Amaravati budget and ensure balanced regional development.

Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu on Welfare and Governance

Jagan Mohan Reddy slams Chandrababu for failing to deliver on election promises, especially the “Super Six” schemes. He alleged that people across all sections—farmers, students, and women—feel cheated due to unfulfilled commitments.

He also raised concerns about declining state revenues, claiming that mafia activities in sectors like liquor, sand, and minerals are diverting government income. According to him, this has weakened the financial system and governance standards.

Ending his speech, Jagan said that his party will soon intensify its political campaign and expose the failures of the government. He expressed confidence that public support will return to his party as people recognize the difference in governance.
