The Nimmala Ramanaidu Bicycle Distribution program highlighted the State government’s commitment to public welfare as Water Resources Minister Dr. Nimmala Ramanaidu distributed 250 free bicycles to students on Thursday. The event, held at MMKN Municipal High School, reflected the Minister’s continued focus on initiatives that directly benefit the public, especially students.
Organized by the Dharmarao Foundation with support from Union Bank under its CSR initiative, the Nimmala Ramanaidu Bicycle Distribution program saw enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and local leaders. The Minister also interacted warmly with students, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Nimmala Ramanaidu Bicycle Distribution Supported by CSR Initiative
As part of the Nimmala Ramanaidu Bicycle Distribution, 250 bicycles were provided to Class 9 students of MMKN Municipal High School and BVRM Girls High School. Addressing the gathering, Minister Ramanaidu expressed gratitude to the people of his constituency for electing him three times as MLA and entrusting him with ministerial responsibilities.
He stated that he works up to 18 hours a day to meet public expectations and ensure the constituency’s development. The Nimmala Ramanaidu Bicycle Distribution is part of his broader effort to secure CSR funding for welfare and development activities, especially in view of the state’s financial challenges.
The Minister also criticized the previous government, stating that financial mismanagement had left the state in debt. Despite these challenges, he emphasized his commitment to bringing funds for development projects and welfare schemes.

Expand for More Students
The Nimmala Ramanaidu Bicycle Distribution initiative will be expanded in phases to cover all Class 9 students in the constituency. The Minister further announced plans to extend the scheme to students from Class 6 to Intermediate in the future, ensuring wider benefits.
Highlighting the contributions of the Dharmarao Foundation, he noted its ongoing welfare activities such as free meal services near hospitals, blood donation camps, disaster relief efforts, and drinking water supply. He stressed that education is the key to societal transformation and encouraged students to study hard and achieve success.
