Addressing the gathering, Sankara Rao extended his YSRCP Foundation Day greetings to party leaders, dedicated workers, and supporters across the constituency. He said that the party was established with the objective of ensuring welfare and development for all sections of society and has been working continuously towards that goal.
He stated that the YSRCP government had brought significant development to the state during the past five years. According to him, several welfare schemes and infrastructure projects were implemented under the leadership of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, benefiting people across Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking about development in the Pedakurapadu constituency, Sankara Rao said that many important works were undertaken with the support of the YSRCP government. These included the establishment of village secretariats, improvement of government hospitals, construction of link roads and CC roads, and several other infrastructure works aimed at improving the quality of life in rural areas.
He also pointed out that the long-pending Amaravati–Bellamkonda road project, which had been a major demand of the local people for several years, was sanctioned during the YSRCP government. Nearly 50 percent of the road construction work was completed during the previous administration, he added.
Sankara Rao criticized earlier governments led by the Congress and Telugu Desam Party, stating that they failed to bring meaningful development to the Pedakurapadu constituency. In contrast, he said, the YSRCP government focused on welfare, infrastructure, and development across both urban and rural areas.
Later, Pedakurapadu YSRCP constituency observer Yenumula Muralidhar Reddy also addressed the gathering. He said that every party worker who proudly carries the party flag would receive recognition for their dedication and service. He called upon party cadres to work with renewed enthusiasm and unity so that the YSRCP can return to power in the 2029 elections.
