Collector reviews implementation of previous DIPEC decisions and Single Desk approvals
₹81.78 lakh subsidies approved for eight industrial units in Palnadu district

Palnadu, March 7:The District Industries Promotion and Export Committee (DIPEC) meeting of Palnadu district was held today at the Collectorate’s Video Conference Hall under the chairmanship of District Collector Kritika Shukla.

During the meeting, the Collector reviewed the implementation of decisions taken in the previous committee meeting with the heads of various departments. Discussions were also held on the approvals granted to industries through the Single Desk Portal by different government departments since the last meeting.
The Collector sought details from the District Industries Centre officials regarding the release of subsidies amounting to about ₹81.78 lakh to eight eligible industrial units that have established industries in the district.
She also reviewed the progress of investment proposals that emerged from the Investors Summit held in Visakhapatnam in November 2025, where several companies had expressed interest in establishing their units in the district. The Collector held detailed discussions to address delays in the implementation of these projects and directed officials to take necessary steps to expedite the process.
Further, she reviewed the progress of several major industries that have either begun construction or are in the preliminary stages in the district. The Collector sought explanations for delays in their implementation and issued appropriate directions to the Revenue Department officials concerned.
The meeting also included a review of the implementation of various Central and State Government schemes. The Collector directed Lead District Manager Ramp Prasad to ensure that the targets under all central and state government schemes are achieved and fully grounded by the end of the month.
She also reviewed matters related to land already allotted and pending allotment to industries by the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and issued instructions to Revenue officials and the APIIC Zonal Manager to take necessary action.
The Collector further reviewed arrangements for the PM Vishwakarma Exhibition and Trade Fair scheduled to be held in the district from March 10 to March 12. She also directed officials to organise Udyam registrations during the International Women’s Conference scheduled for March 8, 2026, and during the proposed District-Level RAMP Programme, likely to be held on March 21 or 28.
