Doctors Explain the Need for HPV Vaccine Awareness Short Film
Guntur: The HPV Vaccine Awareness Short Film, written, directed, and produced by Dr. Shama Sultana, Chairperson of Hope Win Hospitals and senior gynecologist, was released on Sunday by Dr. Nazeeruddin, Founder of Hope Win Hospitals and General Laparoscopic Surgeon.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Nazeeruddin highlighted the growing number of cancer cases and emphasized that awareness and prevention are far better than treatment after diagnosis. He appreciated the initiative behind the HPV Vaccine Awareness Short Film, stating that such efforts are essential to educate the public about cancer prevention.

Dr. Shama Sultana said the HPV vaccine is currently the only vaccine capable of preventing certain types of cancers. She explained that the HPV Vaccine Awareness Short Film was produced to inform families about the importance of early vaccination and preventive healthcare. She also stated that more public health awareness films will be produced in the future.
Doctors from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Guntur Obstetrics and Gynecology Society (GOGS) congratulated Dr. Shama Sultana for the HPV Vaccine Awareness Short Film initiative.
The event was attended by doctors, hospital staff, members of the short film team, and JCI Guntur Inspire members.
